When you season food, make sure you are keeping it light-handed with the salts and hot spices, and going heavy on saltless things like Garlic Powder and Onion Powder. Make sure you cover all sides of the meat evenly. You can also poke the meat with a fork once it is covered in seasonings to push the spices down into the meat. You want to make sure tou don't poke the meat too much because it might ruin how juicy the steak cooks to.
